NO I'M SOOOO NOT JOKING! Today is National Pancake Day, so in celebration of that IHOP has decided to bless us with some FREE PANCAKES! All they ask is that you donate to a children's hospital. I know a lot of people on here are college students, or just students of life, trying to make it! A complimentary meal would be really nice, right? Yep, I know! Join IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., we’ll give you one free short stack (three) of our famous buttermilk pancakes.* All we ask is that you consider making a donation to support local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network, or other local charities.

In 2007, you helped IHOP celebrate National Pancake Day by raising more than $625,000 for charity. In 2008, we hope that together we can top that by giving away enough free pancakes to raise $750,000 for Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities. I find that we are always unhappy with the way we were made. "I'm too dark" "I'm too tall" "I'm too short" "I'm too fat" "I'm too skinny" I'm too this, and I'm too that. If you all of a sudden woke up 5 shades lighter, your features might not be as attractive anymore. If you were all of a sudden short, your weight would push out and you would be too thick. Another complaint to add to your list. Why are we sooo caught into this world of worrying about what society thinks of us? Nobody matters but YOU and GOD. Because the same person who looks down on you for one thing, has complaints when he or she looks into the mirror themselves. So choose, to be you, or force yourself to be "accepted" by trying to cover your genetic makeup with Covergirl makeup. You won't be happy in the long run, because they won't love you for you. Just some food for thought.

Think of 7 positive things about your physical appearance and 7 positive things about your personality. Write them down. And start at the top of the list on Monday saying 2 positive things about yourself all the way through Sunday. Just two a day. Its not that hard. And after 1 month, write a new list. Trust me, you'll realize that your positive attributes outweigh your negative.
